As we approach our final day of operations, we want to express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone for your kind words and encouragement! We understand that many of you are curious about our future plans and what will happen to any remaining multi-shareable passes.

At the moment, there are no plans to reopen Origin Boulder elsewhere. However, if you’ve come to love the unique community and vibrant atmosphere of our humble bouldering gym, we invite you to explore Outpost Climbing once it opens!

So, some exciting news! CLIMBA is gearing up to launch a brand-new bouldering gym in the heart of the CBD! π
As climbers who have climbed at Origin Boulder and who share the same focus on the community as us, CLIMBA hopes to be the new home gym for the CBD climbing community. Any multi-shareable passes you have left will be transferred to CLIMBA after our last day of operations. These passes will have a validity of 2 months from CLIMBA’s official opening, which will be announced by them.

Dear Valued Customers,
We regret to inform you that our beloved bouldering gym will be closing its doors on September 30th. We want to take this opportunity to express our heartfelt gratitude for your unwavering support and dedication throughout the years. We understand that this news may come as a disappointment, and we want to provide you with all the necessary information regarding the changes that will occur from now until our closing day.
- Multipass Sales Discontinued: Effective immediately, we will no longer be offering multipass sales. If you currently hold a multipass, please note that it will still be valid for use until September 30th.
- Initiation Fees Waived for August: As part of our transition period, we have decided to remove all initiation fees. This means that new customers can join our gym without any additional charges for the month of August. However subscriptions will not be available for subscription for the month of September.
- Revised Entry Fee: To simplify our pricing structure, the entry fee for all customers will now be set at $20, excluding shoe rental. First-timers however will still be able to enjoy the free shoe rentals. We believe this adjustment will make it easier for everyone to enjoy the facilities without any confusion.
- Origin Lite/Unlimited Membership Continues to be available up till 30 August 2023: For our Origin Lite customers, you will receive 6 credits instead of 4 for August. Unlimited members will be allowed to bring in 2 First – timers instead of 1 for the month of August. Take advantage of this opportunity to make the most of your remaining time with us.
- Climb Squad: Effective immediately, Climb Squad Packages will no longer be purchaseable. If you currently hold this package, please plan your climbing sessions before our closing date.
- Increased Gym Capacity: To accommodate more climbers who wishes to try out our walls prior to our closure, we are increasing our gym capacity to a maximum of 45 individuals, including those attending classes. This adjustment will ensure that everyone has the opportunity to enjoy our facilities, even during peak hours.
- Discounted Merchandise: As part of our closure, all merchandise will be available at a discounted price of 30% off. Don’t miss this opportunity to grab your favorite gear and souvenirs at a great price.
- Classpass Slots Adjustment: For Classpass users, please note that the maximum number of slots available for off-peak hours will be increased to 15. However you are still requirted to attend only within the 3 hour slot you booked for.
- Lunchtime Hours Remains: We are pleased to announce that our lunchtime slot will remain from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, priced at $15. Additionally, we are extending the lunchtime slot until 5:45 PM for an additional $5 fee. Enjoy the flexibility of climbing during the extended hours at an affordable rate. Climbing Shoes are included!
We understand that this closure may bring mixed emotions, but we want to assure you that your time at our gym has been truly valued and appreciated. We thank you for being a part of our community, and we hope to create lasting memories with you until our final day of operation. Cross Street Exchange will be renovating the entirety of Basement 1 and some parts of Level 1 in Q4. We have received a notice of termination for our tenancy recently.
We were genuinely surprised by the early termination, especially considering that the building underwent renovations not too long ago, making it relatively new. The news came as a shock to us.
Our last day of operations at Cross Street Exchange will be 30 September 23
As sudden as it is for us, we do not want to leave you in the lurch, and we will do our best to do good by you.
Multi-shareable Passes (MPs)
We have stopped the sales of MP packages. We highly recommend that you fully utilise all your passes by 30 September. Alternatively, you may also opt to transfer your passes to Climb@T3 to be used for Climb & Play (Unguided) sessions, with an additional monthβs validity on top of your existing validity.
Origin Lite & Unlimited
Your monthly subscription will carry on as per normal till end September. Should you wish to continue supporting us, all Lite subscribers will receive 6 credits instead of 4, and all Unlimited subscribers will be allowed to bring 2 first-time guests instead of 1.
Origin Basics
We have stopped the sales of Origin Basics. Those with existing packages with us will be able to continue using them by 14th July.
Climb Squad
We have stopped the sales of Climb Squad packages but single credits are still purchaseable. Climb Squad will continue to run till end our last day of operations.
For the moment, due to the unfortunate circumstances and limited resources, the entire full-time team will have to be let go with immediate effect with one month’s notice. There are no plans to re-open in another location as we are still taking stock of the situation. Our team will continue to serve you to the best of our capabilities until the last day of our operations.
